Personal Bio - Lia Lash

"Many factors were at play to make me who and what I am today. As a child I was always the one who assembled my brothers’ (and often my own!) Christmas gifts. I like building things, piecing the puzzle together, creating something from a pile of random materials. I am also a veteran of old houses, and there always seemed to be at least one home improvement project going - something that needed redesigning, reworking, or just needed to be torn out and rethought completely.

I came to design from this practical building side. I am proud to say that I have renovated six homes myself - from configuring layouts to plumbing, wiring, tiling, etc. to finally (the fun part!) picking the finishing materials. It’s not easy! There are so many options available today and more arriving on the scene every day. It can be extremely overwhelming. I strive to help my clients sort through it all, figure out what makes sense for them practically and financially, and guide them through the aesthetic process of pulling it all together." Lia
